The Wyldlings

Wild Fae beasts.
No god owns them.

The heart of Unbound. Weaken a Wyldling, bind it with the Binding ring, and it’s yours — raise it from a baby, evolve it into a worker or a fighter, put it to work in your town, and take it into battle at your side. Over a hundred forms are already modelled and every line grows up differently. These are a few of the first.

The story

Too much power
for one body.

Long ago the gods split one people into many and walled them apart. Every people since has outlawed half-bloods — living proof the walls don’t hold. The sun hasn’t shown its face in a thousand years, and at the edges of the world, the Weave that holds it together is fraying into grey nothing.

Then every god, at once, blesses one half-blood child with all of their gifts. That’s you. Far more magic than any body should hold, and no one to teach you how to hold it.

You wake in the Wildwood with light bleeding from your hands. Survive it. Learn Control. Win the peoples over one by one — or stand against them — and found a town for everyone who was ever cast out.

“Every god of the Fae world blessed one child. Then every people in it turned that child away.”

Five peoples

Half of one.
Hunted by all.

At the start you choose which people you’re half of. Your own people’s leader becomes the one you’ll have to face; the other three are the ones you’ll have to win.

Half-bloods

Outlawed everywhere. Your town’s first citizens — and maybe the stitches holding the world together.

Fae

Old courts, older grudges, and the high hunt that rides for you first.

Witches

Coven-bound spellcasters and warriors. Their doors were the first barred against you.

Vampires

Patient, ancient, and very interested in what’s in your blood.

Dragon shifters

Fire-born clans who’d rather see you dead than see you rise.

How it plays

Survive. Bind. Build.
Burn it down if you have to.

01

Magic you build yourself

Assemble spells in your grimoire from Forms, Aspects and Glyphs. Push past your Control and the power surges — for better or worse.

02

Bind the Wyldlings

Weaken wild Fae beasts, bind them with the Binding ring, and raise them. They fight beside you, work your town, and evolve.

03

Survive the Wildwood

Hunger, cold, heat and weight. Gather, craft and make your first fire under two moons and an aurora.

04

Found a town

Build a home for the cast-out — dozens of buildings, jobs for your Wyldlings, and a world that reacts when fire spreads or ice holds.

Spells with weight

Every spell is a combination you put together, not a menu pick. Shape, force and glyph decide whether you throw a bolt, ring the field in fire, or freeze a river into a bridge — and the world keeps the scar.

A home for the cast-out

It starts as a fire and a lean-to. It grows into a walled town of half-bloods, misfits and Wyldlings, each with work to do — and, in the end, the place every people has to come to.

In the engine today

Built in the open.
Rough edges and all.

Unreal Engine 5 captures from the current build. This is where it stands right now — the art targets above are where it’s going, and beta Captains help steer the road between.
